Cover Design - Yet another STEP

Yet Another Day to test the designing skill. Its a cover page design for UTC Aerospace System formerly known as Goodrich Aerospace, ASG-IFS/OFS Team Diary. The Design basically scrolls around the aerospace related things. The core of the design is about aircraft Engines, which is their primary proficiency in UTC and also to give privilege to the founder of Goodrich Organization. Its an interesting time to do quite a research about the background of Goodrich and their achievements before triggering the design process.

Though the execution is done with the help of my friend +pradeep D , the Journey to come with the final design is remarkable and challenging. Each day working in midnight with skype and team viewer assisting the process of design, while headphones and mic being geared up for the discussion and the never ending suggestions for the improvement in the design gave an adventurous time for me and pradeep.

We always were crazy lovers of creativity  and trying out new things. And the result of our craziness is here.

The Front page actually gives a brief info about the Airlines engines which we work - Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier. LEARN, EXECUTE and SHARE the key motto for the success of our team. Word tags for the key things which we do in UTC is designed for the Title.

The concept of back page design is to privilege the founder of the Goodrich, Rohr and the locations of UTC around the world is shown.

The design of Cover pages for the diary  gave us one good designing experience. More than anything, the talks about the school days during the during the design process was cherishable.

       The day is set, the topic is launched to get back to the old days where it all started, when the great Grand Father LEONARDO DA VINCI installed the dream of flying like a bird. The dream journey of flying has been kept alive through many successors. The moon was just a mile distance, where once it is once a dream land. From a dream to reach the space is mind blowing.

        The Poster design competition Art "O" Space is to privilege such contributions towards the Aerospace Arena on the Engineer's Day November 21st 2013.

We designed 3 posters, one for me and other 2 for my best buddies. Each team can have 2 participants. My team was comprised  of  crazy myself and another active, eager and interesting character Shruthi Gopinath.

Here comes our posters. The 1st poster gives you a picture of the great people who were behind the great inventions of the dream flying machines. Some were successful, some were not but still, they are the walls and Proud Fathers of Aerospace Science

This Poster gives you the picture of Historical path right from Wright brothers to the Mission to Space.

This poster gives you the idea of future technology and innovations which could take aerospace technology to next level.

The credit for making these posters should also go to my all time best buddy Pradeep, as he helped me in executing and making the final results of all posters with his excelled Photoshop skill.

Though These posters didn grab any prizes, Yet the journey to design these posters were amazing. Hope to win prizes next time with much innovative and creative designs

Cute Moments Often Missed

In Our Busy Life, we often fail to enjoy the beautiful gift given by the Nature, Beautiful scenaries, cute moments, Unique activities. Even on the way to work, Most of us always think about the hectic work schedule ahead, the same goes even we spend time in traffic signal, we never like to see those beautiful tress or slow moving clouds or glittering stars rather, we always worry about red turning green. It jus takes couple of seconds to actually recognize these beauties behind all these. Let it be trees, touching drizzle, a puppy in the streets, a playful sparrows or falling flowers and leaves during autumn. We miss most of the time :(

The Fearless Tigers- MIssion Domination

This is a video i made to show how much Indians dominated the world after lifting the world cup in 1983. I should say, Indian cricket did made us proud. The way legends have played under pressure situation, the way they performed against dominating countries like West Indies and Australia is mind blowing.

This video consists of some rare and interesting scenario happened in 80's. Handling the ball, Hatrick by a fast bowler, A nail bitting tied test, and ofcourse to compliment some of the greatest heroes, their performance and their achievement has been highlighted. A legendary performance from Kapil Deva and Sunil Gavaskar is a feast to watch.

Some of the animation effect i have used in this video is done using Adobe After Effects CS5.5, Muvee Reveal, Windows Live Movie Maker, Vegas Movie Studio HD, Proshow Gold

ChocolateS a day keeps the worries away ;)

The moment you say chocolate to some one, what do you infer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

"A smile on the face, Change of mood to joyful, A small excitement, Instant flow of energy and Ofcourse one will be looking forward to eat one". That is the power, Chocolates hold till date, a symbol of happiness.The best way to share happiness to others. I personally likes chocolates for many other reason.

   Chocolates may not give the required nutrients, but it gives necessary energy to swap to a good mood. I should say Chocolates played a major role in my life right from my school days. It always gave me a joyous mood, let it be giving to others on my birthday or sharing it among friends and collegues.

Some of my favourite chocolates during school days would be Mango Bite and Koka Naka, candies which are very famous that time, its almost extinct in reason days. It lasted till my 5th standard then i swapped to BUNKERS, not a day went without eating that. Once the school gets over, i'll buy that from the opposite shop, since each pack will have 5 chocolates, ill always share it with friends. In the same time BOOMER and PIM POM too was so famous, so we used to take on alternative days. I still remember one of my friend used to buy that full box of boomer and used to bring some for friends daily. Eventhough pocket money during school days is less, we friends will share and still will go with chocolates. Chocolates after lunch, chocolates at the end of last period, choclates on birthday, chocolates on independence day, republic day, teachers day, childrens day, Handfull of chocolates, school life with enjoyment.Those were memorable period of chocolates in my life.

After my school days, these candy's vanished with time. I m forced to try new chocolates. This time i found a different variety, a chocolate which is still famous, MUNCH.. I used to eat some 3  or 4 in a week. As the time progresses, went on to try different brands of same kind of bar chocolates PERK and KITKAT.

   One Interesting thing is that, i haven't tried any diary milk products till my college days, But it is my mom's favourite always, then one day when my mom asked me to try Diary milk FRUIT & NUT. I just got addicted to it later. Whenever i go to shop, ill come back with one Fruit and Nut. and Inbetween tried some other chocolates like milkybar, Bournville. Myself and my mom used to experiment lot of foreign chocolates and some untried Indian chocolates too. But nothing impressed me

   After my college days i joined TCS in bangalore, The intensity of consuming chocolates slowly reduced for some months, May be because My favourite chocolates were never found very often, atleast near my office zone. Then one day my collegue gave me a 5 Star CRUNCH, infact that is only chocolate available most of the time in my office. Fortunately the taste of that one almost resembled fruit and nut, but still it couldn't beat up diary milk's Fruit &Nut quality and taste

   The only chocolate which i never liked when i tried it first and started to eat like anything is SNICKERS. I didnt even heard about this chocolate before. It  is one of my friend's favourite actually.  Bought it for my friend and then i also tried it, Din't like it first but when i tried it for second time, i dont know why i liked it again

   I always look forward for this moment, to eat chocolates with my mom in home.The moment i go home, first thing is do is to check for the variety of chocolates in the freezer. i'll not be disappointed, my mom will always keep some colourful yummy chocolates for me ;)

 I dont know when the day will come when i say i dont want anymore chocolates in my life,  Who knows that day might not come at all. After all Chocolates become part of my life
